Terms of Use

Last updated 16/10/25

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Motion+ software, APIs, source code, and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Motion Division Ltd ("we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Your license to use Motion+

Your purchase of Motion+ grants you a lifetime license to use the Service. This is a single-user license, meaning it is for one individual developer. The license is non-transferable and intended for your personal or professional use.

Account security and sharing

You are responsible for safeguarding your account information, including your email login and any access tokens provided to you.

Sharing your individual license is strictly forbidden. Sharing or distributing your access tokens or login credentials will result in the immediate termination of your account and access to the Service.

If your account is terminated due to sharing, access can be reinstated upon the purchase of a Team License.

Team licenses

We offer a Team License for organisations and groups. A Team License provides access for up to 10 users. The seats within a Team License are transferable, allowing you to reassign them to different team members as your team changes.

Source code usage

The Service includes access to various source codes. Your use of this code is subject to the following conditions:

  • Example Source Code: All source code provided in our examples is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute it as you see fit.

  • Premium Component Source Code: The source code for our premium components (like Ticker, Cursor, Carousel, etc.) is also licensed under the MIT License for your convenience. However, this comes with two key restrictions:

    1. You may not resell or share this source code. Using the code in commercial products is explicitly allowed, whereas taking the actual source code and putting it up in a GitHub repo is not.

    2. You may not resell access to these APIs. For example, if you create a website builder like Framer or Figma, then you can use these APIs on your website and in your product. But you cannot offer your users these APIs to your users to use in their websites. To offer this, you must become a Motion partner.

Violation of these condition can result in the termination of your account and prevent you from receiving future updates.

Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with Motion+, you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days of your original purchase date. To request a refund, please contact matt@motion.dev.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Motion Division Ltd makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall Motion Division Ltd be liable for any special, direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages or any damages whatsoever, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tort, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service or the contents of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
